STANDARD platform is designed to empower solution developers, policymakers, researchers, and civil society actors in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to assess, compare, and strengthen the governance of generative AI systems. Recognizing the unique sociopolitical, economic, and infrastructural realities of LMICs, our tool provides context-aware benchmarks and diagnostic insights that reflect local risks, opportunities, and priorities.

Built with transparency, inclusively, and actionability at its core, the platform helps users evaluate governance readiness across critical dimensions – such as Systems, Transparency, Algorithms, Norms, Deployment, Accountability, Risk mitigation, Data, as well as public benefit and local capacity. Inspired by global frameworks but adapted for regional relevance, it supports informed decision-making around GenAI deployment, regulation, and innovation.
